Global communication has become a hot topic in the past ten years. It built a communication network between countries and areas. With this new network, different people learned different culture, concepts and knowledge. Those elements were the most important gaps of communicate with others. Global communication promoted the understanding between two different countries or areas, which are not able to get to so related, because of the distance. However, globalization changed the situation.
Global communication is the process of transmitting and receiving information on a world-wide scale, and it’s promoted technical, economic and humanity.
First of all, the long distance between countries makes people hard to get together. People had recognized this problem, so all the transportations had changed a lot. For the aircraft, in January the 18th, the Chinese president, Mr. Hu Jingtao was visiting USA. And he came here not only to visit America, but also came here do some business with USA. The largest amount of this time is bought the Booing airplanes. From this point, we can see the aircraft is the main transportation in global communication.
Second, sometimes we don’t have to go to the other place, but we still can do something that is important. The internet was a very helpful assistant in globalization. People in different countries also do business though internet, they can use internet for chat, video chat and use some websites to buy or sell stuff overseas. It’s only take couple seconds for internet to deliver people to everywhere in the world.
Third, by using aircrafts we can go around the world personally, and by using internet we can get lot of information in front of the monitor. So with these two ways, international trade becomes more and more popular. For example, China has cheaper labor than USA, then people form America go investment to china. After they opened their factories or companies, they don’t have to stay there. They just need to control it or get all the information though the internet. It saves a large amount of money and time. For the Chinese people they can learned some skills or advanced tecnoligy, which is hard for them to learned in china. So both USA and China get benefit from the international business.
Four, different people fly to other counties, the culture conflict is exist. So some misunderstanding happens all the time. Like people from western counties are not use to share stuff with people, they are more individually. But the non-western countries are more passionate in association. So people from the two different part of the world got know each other more and more. As we know each other better, the distances between people were getting closer.
Last but not least, people work, study or for some other reasons they start to immigrate to other countries. A research in 2009 shows that 65% are white, 13% are from Africa, the percentage of Asian is 4.6%, Latino is 15.8% ,native Indian has 1%, the rest of people are mix blood (Baidu, 2009). In my opinion, because of the huge immigration brought different kind of cultures, with these culture there are lot of extensions of new concepts came out. Then push the technology and economic growed up.
In conclusion, with global communication we can easily travel to other places by aircraft, or we can tour by suffering internet. Doing bossiness is not only in our own countries, we can go lot of places to gain more chances. Culture conflicts make new concepts help us to have new lives. In my eyes, globalization has promoted the technical, economic and humanity, in the past ten years.
